I came in with a burnt out cable for the radiator cooling fan due to a fan malfunction, I had been there one year prior with a similar issue and they just replaced the cable (charged $500 for that). Now, it seems the issue was with the fan itself, and they quoted me $1,200 to replace it and the cable connector. $800 for the Fan and 3 hours of labor (the guy also said he found about $200 worth of discounts to get to that $1,200 number). I found a brand-new fan from Advanced Auto Parts for $200 and my friend is going to install it for me. The pricing just doesn't make sense. (also, ever since I took my car there last year, it has been leaking coolant.)
